Rebecca Reilly is an accomplished Critical Care Registered Nurse with over 13 years of experience spanning clinical, managerial, educational, and public health roles. She has worked in leading tertiary trauma centres and non-government organisations, including the World Health Organization, where she contributed to global healthcare initiatives. Her expertise includes critical care, patient flow coordination, digital health, and leadership in high-pressure environments.
Currently, Rebecca is the Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the ICU at Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she oversees patient flow coordination, bed management, and clinical operations in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Prior to this role, she was the Manager of Global Programs at Alfred Health, where she led emergency care capacity-building initiatives and developed partnerships with international health services, universities, and research organisations. In that role, she secured funding from commercial, government, and research bodies, contributing to emergency care, particularly in the Western Pacific region.
Rebecca also worked with the World Health Organization's Chief Nursing Office, where she coordinated international nursing leadership programs and established mentorship opportunities for early-career nurses and midwives. She holds a Master in Public Health from Monash University and a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care from Australian Catholic University.
