Code of Conduct.
Our Code of Conduct applies to all RECSI personnel (staff, contractors and volunteers) engaged in activities under the RECSI program. Our team are required to uphold principles of quality, safety, risk management and continuous improvement in the management and delivery of the program, and ensuring adherence to safeguarding requirements and ethical conduct.

Multimedia Consent
Those who participate in our programs or activities are requested to provide their consent to use their multimedia recordings and information. After receiving consent, RECSI and its partners may, use and disclose your information in material for our educational, promotional or media activities both in Australia and overseas.
RECSI is supported by the Australian Government through the Partnerships for a Healthy Region (PHR) initiative. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), which administers PHR, also engages in promotional activities and educational campaigns that are aimed at educating members of the public about the work they support.

Safeguarding
RECSI recognises that we place our staff and contractors in positions of trust and authority in relation to the communities they work in, especially vulnerable adults and children and that as an
organisation, we owe a duty of care to the beneficiaries of programs and the partners it
engages with, to ensure a safe environment is always maintained. A number of policies and procedures are in place to prevent and respond to risks.
As the coordinating partner of the RECSI program Alfred Health has organisational policies and corresponding program guidelines regarding safeguarding. Copies of the policies are available here:
Reporting Concerns
If you have a complaint or would like to report any concerns about the conduct of RECSI personnel that does not follow our policies outlined above please:

Speak to RECSI personnel, or a person running activities as part of the RECSI program.

Reports can be made verbally or in writing. If you need support with translation for reporting please reach out via the mechanisms above.
If you have experienced, witnessed or heard about misconduct of RECSI personnel we encourage you to communicate concerns without fear of reprisal.
