Dr George Zhou is an intensive care medicine physician at The Alfred ICU, Melbourne, Victoria. He is currently the Deputy Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Society (ANZICS) Global Intensive Care Initiative (GICI). 

In addition to providing high level clinical excellence, George is deeply committed in education and training, welfare and the advancement of global health equity. His work focuses on promoting equal access to critical care worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Dr George Zhou has extensive experience in the development and support of multiple international critical care settings across Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.
