Melanie Wratten
Melanie Wratten is an international development and public health professional with over ten years of experience in training, capacity building, and health systems strengthening. She began her career at the University of Queensland, where she supported international development projects and developed a deep interest in the Pacific region.
This interest has led to her involvement in a wide range of projects, including public service leadership and tuberculosis initiatives in Papua New Guinea, as well a Support Officer role at the Vanuatu Ministry of Health and a Research and Data Officer role for the Public Health Division of the Pacific Community (SPC).
Melanie holds a Master’s in Development Practice and a Graduate Certificate in Evaluation, and she is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. As the Program Manager for RECSI, Melanie is committed to continuing her support for health professionals across the region, helping them to provide equitable services for their communities through strengthened networks and collaboration.
