Overview

This document is designed to guide RECSI personnel and partners for ensuring events, training and capacity building activities consider inclusivity and accessibility as core principles.

Though this resource was developed for RECSI personnel and partners involved in delivering program activities across Papua New Guinea (PNG), Timor-Leste, and the broader Pacific, the program has chosen to share publicly as the information provided is applicable across a range of health system strengthening and capacity building programs.

Local contexts and individual needs will vary and therefore it is best practice to always ask people with disabilities and female participants what support they require to fully participate. This will also assist in knowing how to contextualise the guidance within this document.
