Liggie Kare
Project Coordinator - PNG Stream
Liggie Kare is the Executive Manager for Clinical Projects at the National St. John Ambulance Service (NStJA) in Papua New Guinea. She manages two other projects and was recently onboarded to coordinate the RECSI program activities in the Papua New Guinea stream.
She has experience in project management; delivering public health advocacy and WASH infrastructure to rural communities in the Western and Central provinces.
Locally, Liggie supports the Project Yumi in helping high school graduates, drop outs and members of local communities apply for jobs and prepare for job interviews. She is also a peer support volunteer for staff of the NStJA service and supports the interim Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance (NCDA) to advocate for healthy lifestyle choices.
Liggie holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Sciences – Food Science and Nutrition major. Currently with the position she holds, she plans to gradually promote good nutrition practices for ambulance officers through awareness.
