RECSI's 2025 Annual Report is now available on our website programs page in English and Tetum!

The report outlines a year of significant progress building on the design and inception phase of the project completed in 2024, with a substantial scale-up of activities across all regions. In total, more than 400 healthcare workers from 18 countries participated in RECSI-supported activities during 2025.

Highlights include the delivery of impactful education and training programs like the WHO-ICRC-IFEM Basic Emergency Care (BEC) course and Basic Assessment and Support in Intensive Care (BASIC), and collaboration with regional clinical networks the Pacific Islands Society for Emergency Care (PISEC) and the Pacific Society of Anaesthetists (PSA). Activities continued to strengthen the systems and processes that underpin safe and effective acute care, alongside the development of data registries and research initiatives.

RECSI continues to position itself as a platform for improved coordination and partnership, drawing on regional and international expertise while strengthening networks. As we continue to build together in 2026 we remain committed to profiling the work of colleagues across the region via our website and reports.
