NCCTRC Educator Representative

Beth Price

Beth Price is an Intensive and Critical Care Nurse currently working as the Pacific Emergency and Critical Care Education Consultant with the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre (NCCTRC) in Darwin. She works within the Australian Government–funded Regional Engagement Program (REP), which partners with Pacific colleagues to strengthen regional capacity for effective and equitable responses to health emergencies.


Beth has worked extensively across the Pacific since 2021. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she collaborated with SPCs Clinical Services Program and was deployed with the Australian Medical Assistance Team (AUSMAT) as part of the regional COVID response. Since that time, she has continued to work closely with Pacific partners, contributing to the development of emergency and critical care resources and tools to support strengthened critical care services and health emergency management systems across the region.


Beth previously served as an Intensive Care Educator at Royal Darwin Hospital for ten years. She holds a Master of Nursing (Intensive Care) and a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education, and is currently undertaking a Master of Global Development.

In addition to her clinical and education roles, Beth is a member of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN) Global Health Advisory Panel and the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS) Global Intensive Care Initiative. She also represents the NCCTRC on the World Health Organization Acute Care Action Network and the Technical Advisory Group on Integrated Care.
