Director Regional Engagement, National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre


Anthony is an experienced emergency Nurse with a career in emergency response, clinical leadership, and health capacity building. Anthony currently serves as Director of the NCCTRC REP. From 2021 to 2025, he worked with the WHO WPRO as a Training and Technical Consultant for Emergency Medical Teams (EMT), delivering EMT training across the Pacific and Southeast Asia, including the Cook Islands, FSM, Fiji, Kiribati, Laos, Palau, PNG, RMI, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu. He led WHO COVID-19 deployments to the Solomon Islands and Pohnpei, FSM. Anthony previously was a Trauma Clinical Nurse Consultant and Disaster Manager with SESLHD in NSW HEALTH and a Disaster, Trauma, Emergency, and Retrieval Nurse. He is an experienced educator who has travelled to Bali, New Zealand, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu as part of a NCCTRC/DFAT Training Group teaching MIMMS, HMIMMS and Australian Trauma Team Training. He has extensive NCCTRC, WHO EMT and INSARAG training and field experience.​
