
Graciela Pereira
Project Coordinator - Timor-Leste Stream
Graciela is a medical doctor with 5 years of experience as a general practitioner in clinical settings. She has spent another 2 years in a coordinator role for an INGO that focused on service delivery of sexual reproductive health and family planning across Central Region (Dili, Manatuto, Aileu, Oecusse and Atauro). With this DFAT and MFAT-funded project she supported administration, logistics, operations, and finance, leading the team and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to establish partnerships.
During the COVID-19 pandemic Graciela worked in CHC Baocnana Oecusse alongside the surveillance and epidemiology team on how to manage patients based on MoH and WHO protocols.
Graciela also works as a medical volunteer for SABEH (Saúde ba Ema Hotu), providing free medical aid or assistance to extreme remote people across Timor-Leste.
